Your “conspirators” will always seem to come out of the wood work when you’re forging ahead into your purpose.
What I mean by this is, those that don’t want to see you or your plans succeed will make themselves known through many different forms to stop you prior your accomplishing anything.
Nehemiah faced this issue when he felt a burden to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem. The moment he decided to act upon his burden, was the moment Sandballot and Tobiah rose up as opposition against him.
Nehemiah’s response? In short, he gave them nothing on him. When they mocked him, he prayed, when they rose up against him, he positioned himself in strength and when they tried to deceive him in order that they might kill him, he used the wisdom given by God to recognize it and stayed fully trusting in Him.
In 52 days, the wall was re-built and Nehemiah accomplished all he had set out to do.
Remain focused on God, keeping your eyes set like a flint upon Him…and keep going! Don’t stop running until you’ve run the race!
