It doesn’t take much these days to get discouraged. We can look around us and see the divisiveness that’s taking place within our government, the tragedies that continue around the world through natural disasters and the hopelessness that thrives in the hearts of many who have put their security in the tangible and have lost it all. Broken homes, torn marriages through infidelity, murder…you know where I’m going with this.
I get really affected by what I “see”…and I think to a great extent, we all do. We see things taking place around us and the news doesn’t leave much to the imagination.
I thought about what it would “look” like if we lost our “sight” for just a moment…I’m not talking about being ignorant or anything, but what I’m saying is that often we take in what we see, and if affects how we handle life to the point of being driven by fear and motivated by helplessness.
What place are you living from?
That depends on your belief of reality. You see, my reality is immersed in God’s Word and His ways, and His ways are powerful enough to impact my physical circumstances (and I have proof!)
So…maybe, it’s not as much about “losing our sight” as it is about gaining “new sight”, because as we know, that if man becomes what he thinks since thoughts have power, then I can’t even imagine how much more man becomes what he/she “sees”.
Think about…”see” about it
